The EU Parliament passed the Markets in Crypto Act (MiCA) and the Transfer of Funds (TFR) on April 20, following over two years of discussions. This comprehensive framework for cryptocurrency regulations marks a significant milestone, as major countries like the USA, Vietnam, and El Salvador have yet to implement such legislation. The legislations still need to be officially approved by 27 counties, and will likely enter into force in July 2023.
